Commander III Barrier/Parapet Applications |

  Junctions 3 to 4 of the M2 expressway in Belfast, Northern Ireland, involved the engineering of a new concrete barrier system capable of accommodating up to 3.9 ft. (1.2 m) of roadway level differences. The wide step barrier required 0.9 cubic yards (0.7 m3) of concrete to slipform just 3.3 ft. (1 m), and it was slipformed by a three-track Commander III.
