User-Friendly GOMACO Controller

Standard on the GT-6300 is the unique GOMACO controller. This revolutionary system is designed to improve, enhance, create and expand the machine's operating system. The user-friendly GOMACO controller has been proven to offer the operator push-button ease in setup, troubleshooting, and monitoring during the entire paving operation. The electronic-over-hydraulic controller system features self-diagnostics for grade and steering and Smart Steer Controls for paving accuracy and ease of operation. The panel-mounted auto control gauges allow the operator to monitor control signals as the machine follows stringline. All display modules are backlit for enhanced readability in sunlight and under low lighting conditions.

 

 

Curb & Gutter

If there's one type of work the GOMACO GT-6300 is best known for, it's curb and gutter. It is "THE" curb and gutter paver preferred by more contractors for many reasons.

The GT-6300 is mobile ... fast to set up ... easy to operate ... and slipforms beautiful curb and gutter right through 15 ft. (4.57 m) radii and 35 ft. (10.67 m) radius cul-de-sacs. The three-track design works in the most rugged terrain while trimming and paving simultaneously. The GT-6300 provides high production with small crew efficiency. Interchangeable molds can be built to meet varying job requirements. These features provide versatility, quality and high-production slipforming.

 

 

Trimmerhead Hydraulic Sideshifting and Vertical Adjustment

A hydraulic trimmerhead mount is available for the GT-6300. The optional trimmerhead mount has 36 in. (914 mm) of hydraulic sideshift to the right and 12 in. (305 mm) of hydraulic vertical adjustment. This enables the trimmerhead to be raised or shifted to clear obstacles.

 

 

Sidewalk...Monolithic Sidewalk Curb & Gutter

The GT-6300 does it all, monolithic sidewalk curb and gutter in a single pass, sidewalk, bicycle or golf cart paths.

The simultaneous trim and slipform system cuts production costs and lets you take on more jobs. The trimmerhead is designed to match the profile to provide accurate grade, resulting in high yield. The three-track suspension allows the GT-6300 to pave within 2 in. (51 mm) of obstacles for minimum clearance requirements.

 

 

Monolithic Trimmerheads Designed for Accurate Grade

Monolithic sidewalk curb and gutter with simultaneous trimming and slipforming reduces production costs. The sectionalized monolithic trimmerhead is designed to match the profile to provide accurate grade, resulting in high concrete yield. If you're slipforming rollover or vertical monolithic sidewalk curb and gutter, you will see a product you expect.

 

 

Sectionalized Trimmerhead

The GOMACO GT-6300 is equipped with the standard 42 in. (1,067 mm) wide sectionalized trimmerhead which includes one 24 in. (610 mm) drive section with hydraulic internal drive and 18 in. (457 mm) extension. Optional extensions are available for trimming up to 10 ft. (3.05 m) wide with right-hand or left-hand discharge available.

The unique sectionalized trimmerhead features easy width adjustment. This means more production because the trimmer cuts only as wide as necessary and eliminates unnecessary backfill behind the pour.

 

 

Median Barrier and Bridge Safety Parapet - Standard & Variable Barrier

Slipforming median barrier and bridge parapet are standard applications for the GOMACO GT-6300. The GT-6300 hydraulically elevates to slipform barrier and parapet without modifications. The standard three-track or optional four-track system assures stability over grade variations.

The GT-6300's side-mounted mold accommodates minimum-clearance requirements.

Each track height is adjustable in 4 in. (102 mm) increments for 28 in. (711 mm) manual adjustment with 36 in. (914 mm) hydraulic adjustment.

GT-6300 molds are custom built to any state's specifications and can be made to pave over caged reinforcing steel or longitudinal rebar.

 

 

Irrigation Canals ... Drainage & More

The GT-6300's versatility allows it to do a wide range of unique applications like irrigation ditch, drainage channel, feed bunk and more. These applications with the GT-6300 cut crew size dramatically over the old handforming methods. This means higher production and less cost to provide for profitability.

 

 

Paving Packages Add Versatility To Three-Track GT-6300

The GOMACO GT-6300, in the three-track mode, equipped with the versatile 12 ft. (3.66 m) paving package, will handle paving widths from 7 ft. to 12 ft. (2 m to 3.66 m metric mold) with minimum side clearance. The 16 ft. (5 m metric mold) paving package can accommodate widths from 7 ft. to 16 ft. (2 m to 5 m metric mold). The 16 ft. (5 m) paving assembly includes frame extensions for 12 ft. (3.66 m), 14 ft. (4.27 m) and 16 ft. (5 m) wide pours, and a left leg mount. GOMACO paving packages are an easy bolt-on attachment without major structural modifications required. The paving package kit also includes four additional vibrator circuits, valve, switch and hydraulics to change from standard machine to paving package set-up. Whether you choose the 12 ft. (3.66 m) or 16 ft. (5 m) paving package option for the GT-6300, you can be assured it will fit all of your wider width slipform paving applications.

 

 

Three-Track Transforms to a Four-Track Paver

The three-track GT-6300 prime mover drives over the supported four-track frame. The left end car has been removed from the frame to allow the rear leg of the GT-6300 to move through the framework. The GT-6300 is attached to the four-track frame. The pivoting left-front mount is removed. The three track assemblies (leg and track) are utilized for the four-track paving mode. The left-front track assembly on the GT-6300 is positioned as the left front on the four-track frame. The right-front track assembly on the GT-6300 is positioned as the right front on the four-track frame. The rear track assembly on the GT-6300 is positioned as the right rear on the four-track frame. Location of steering cylinder and potentiometer on the track assembly dictates its positioning in the transformation. The end car on the four-track frame is attached, and the left-front track assembly from the GT-6300 is attached. The additional fourth track assembly is attached to the left rear of the frame. The four-track paver drives over the paving mold for quick attachment.

 

 

Four-Track Versatility, Mobility & Transportability

* The GT-6300 four-track is a revolutionary concrete paver for wider width slipforming, up to 20 ft. (6 m), with a modular design four-track paving framework and built-in versatility.

* This four-track paver features the exclusive GOMACO Controller, four-point grade control, and the adaptability for the GOMACO Auto-Float®.

* The GT-6300 is capable of zero clearance paving in the four-track mode with one of the rear tracks removed. The four-track will also handle minimum clearance paving requirements.

* The GOMACO GT-6300 four-track has job-proven rideability results throughout the world.

* The four-track option design adds versatility with job-to-job mobility. The pivoting leg assemblies on the GT-6300 four-track allow the legs to easily swing to the outboard position for travel while the machine remains mobile. It can be loaded on an 8 ft. (2.5 m) wide trailer with the paving mold still attached.

 

 

Multi-Application Paver With Superior Rideability

The GT-6300 meets the strictest specification requirements and provides proven superior rideability results on slipform projects throughout the world.

High production is achieved with the slipforming of slabs up to 20 ft. (6 m) wide in a single pass.

The GT-6300's multi-application capabilities include airport runways, primary and secondary roads, highways, city streets, ramps and approaches, parking lots, alleys, shoulders, sidewalks, bicycle paths, and recreational trails.

 

 

Designed For Safety

The GT-6300 is carefully designed to give years of dependable and safe service. Emergency stop buttons are located on strategic areas of the machine. The E-Stops are on the operator's console and on corners of the machine or can be positioned at various points on the machine providing optimal use for specific applications. Other safety features include track guards, warning decals, an operator's manual, and a safety manual. GOMACO machines are also designed to provide the operator maximum visibility over the entire paving operation.
