GT-6300 Unique Applications

This GT-6300 slipformed busways for the city of West Edinburgh, Scotland. The special profile is for the city's buses, which have steering mechanisms on the wheels that sense off the curbs for automatic steering capabilities.

A GT-6300 slipformed the floor of this cattle barn in Casa Grande, Arizona, while applying a longitudinal groove.

 

A GOMACO GT-6300 slipformed this channel with a seven foot (2.1 m) wide and 10 inch (254 mm) thick floor, and 40 inch (1016 mm) tall side walls. The channel, which was near Colstrip, Montana, had to be built strong enough to withstand the constant dynamite blasting and subsequent earth movement.

The versatility of the GT-6300 and its All-Track Positioning helped it maneuver by tight working conditions while slipforming derailment wall on a railway viaduct in Hong Kong.

Both sides of this tunnel in Rotterdam, Netherlands, were slipformed over intricate steel reinforcing. The GT-6300 was also used to complete the tunnel floor.

A five mile (8.05 km) loop of railway was built and slipformed for the Portland Streetcar railway project. The GT-6300 ran its sensors off the rail for steering and grade.
