GOMACO Invitational: 1998 Champions

Many champions were crowned during this year's GOMACO Invitational. In our eyes, everyone who participates and helps make our festival a great time are champions. Below are the top teams in each of the tournaments for 1998.

This year's grand championship team came from the Ida Grove course. Members of the team were Jeff Rasmussen of GOMACO Corporation, Tom Schaedler of Allied Construction Equipment, Kirk Miller of Road Machinery & Supply Co. and Mike Savastio of L.B. Smith.

The top team from Holstein included Mike Manatt of Manatt's Inc., Steve Simpson of Allied Construction Equipment, Duane Muecke of Cain, Ellsworth & Co. and Dean Ferrell of Ferrell Construction.

The championship team from Mapleton consisted of Al Lammers of Paxton & Vierling Steel, Dave Sloane of Kiewit Construction, John Horner of Holmes, Murphy & Associates and Roger Hatten of GOMACO Corporation.

The top team from Odebolt was comprised of Ray Netherton of GOMACO Corporation, Chris Wilmot of L.B. Smith Inc., Gary Hutchins of Weaver-Bailey Contracting and Keith White, Sac County Engineer.

Taking top honors in the Putting Tournament was Rob Loch of Loch Sand and Construction Co. and Vinnie Miller of GOMACO Corporation.

Winning the Contractors' Shoot-Out was the duo of Steve Samuelson of T&M Construction and Tom Tidball of Constructors Inc.
