GOMACO’s GHP-2800 and GP-2600 Pavers Now Feature the Exclusive G22 Operating System
A GP-2600 with the G22 now has dual language capabilities with the new control system. This G22 features both English and Spanish.
Ida Grove, Iowa – GOMACO’s award-winning GHP-2800 and GP-2600 slipform pavers are now available with the optional G22, GOMACO’s new exclusive operating system. The pavers with the G22 system combine the world’s number one pavers in universal paving markets with a controller equipped to handle the world’s languages in an easy to learn and operate system.
The exclusive G22 combines intelligence with simplicity. The G22’s new graphical display provides the operator with an easy to understand interface to the paver’s controls. Newly designed icons and screens with pictograms reduce the operator’s learning curve to a minimum. The brightly colored graphics and full text explanations provide the ultimate user-friendly operator experience.
The G22 has a dual-language feature with the ability to operate in English or a second language. It also offers the choice of metric or imperial measurements. The GOMACO control systems team has developed the G22 screens for the major languages of the world.
Advanced system diagnostics on the G22 automatically pinpoint and identify electrical circuit opens, shorts and fault codes to aide in troubleshooting. Faults are identified and a full explanation of recommended actions are given. That means less downtime and a quicker uptime on service because the G22 actually helps eliminate costly service time searching for system problems.
The G22 also simplifies machine steering controls on GOMACO pavers. The G22 provides push-button steering setup and trainable track steering because it’s interfaced with GOMACO “smart” cylinders. The system provides intelligent electronic-over-hydraulic control of grade and steering, including dual grade for sensoring stringline on both sides of the paver simultaneously. The G22 controls interface with stringless technology/3D control systems. It can also feature the Super Slope optional software. Super Slope provides 16 times greater resolution than standard systems to provide significantly improved performance for cross-slope applications while paving.
GOMACO’s GHP-2800 and GP-2600 two-track and four-track concrete slipform pavers are preferred by contractors throughout the world.
