Ida Grove, IA, USA – GOMACO Corporation in Ida Grove, in cooperation with Iowa Central Community College and OABCIG High School, will be offering an “Earn While You Learn” Welding Program. GOMACO has provided the high school with state-of-the-art, virtual reality, arc welding training simulators and actual welding stations for the educational process.

“We are aware of several individuals who would like to learn the trade of welding and we always welcome skilled labor to our team,” Grant Godbersen, GOMACO Vice President of Manufacturing said. "This is a great opportunity to join one of the premiere workforces in western Iowa and earn while you learn.”

A selected number of applicants will receive full-time employment with GOMACO, paid training, 100 percent paid tuition, and college credits. The goal of the program is to provide a pathway for area men and women to earn their welding certification through an educational curriculum.
