Job Summary: The Painter applies industrial coatings and finishes to paving machine components and assemblies, ensuring a durable, high-quality appearance that meets customer and company specifications.

| Job/Education Requirements: |
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or masking. • Apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray guns and other tools. • Inspect finished work for proper coverage, thickness, and appearance. • Maintain spray equipment and paint booth cleanliness. • Follow material safety data sheet (MSDS) and proper PPE usage. • Assist with touch-up, rework, and labeling as needed. • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent. • 1–2 years of industrial or automotive painting experience preferred. • Knowledge of paint mixing, surface prep, and coating systems.
Physical Requirements:
• Standing and walking for most of the shift. • Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. • Must wear protective respirator and PPE while painting.
Work Environment:
• Paint booth and manufacturing setting. • Requires respirator fit testing and adherence to all safety and environmental regulations • PPE such as safety glasses and steel-toe boots required.
