GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Painter position sprays paint on machines and machine components with uniform thickness, maintains and cleans paint equipment, and moves parts in and out of paint booths. This position participates in decisions on maintaining paint-related equipment, proper paint, paint equipment, painting procedures and implementation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spray paint machines and components while maintaining consistent high quality
- Safely operate overhead and lifting equipment
- Change portable pumps and paint drums
- Check paint mil thickness and paint viscosity
- Clean all paint related equipment and maintain proper equipment condition
- Check for visible defects from prior operations on parts being painted
- Other miscellaneous duties as required by company supervisors
