| Job Description: |
The Machine Assembler builds and installs mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of paving machines following detailed assembly instructions and blueprints
|
| Job/Education Requirements: |
-Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble subcomponents and full machine systems according to work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Perform hydraulic and pneumatic connections, bolt-ups, and alignments.
• Use hand tools, torque wrenches, and power tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect work for accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Follow all company safety standards and work procedures.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use tools for extended periods.
• Working in and around heavy equipment and parts.
• Ability to climb or reach into assemblies as needed.
Work Environment:
• Manufacturing assembly floor environment.
• PPE such as safety glasses and steel-toe boots required.
