| Job Description: |
The position is for an Engineer capable of designing welding fixtures and robotic welding fixtures as well as other machine tool fixtures to be used in the production of heavy mobile construction equipment.

| Job/Education Requirements: |
Design welding fixtures and other machine tools within a 3D Engineering environment
Generate drawings to produce fixtures including details, weldments, and assemblies for fixtures designed.
Work closely with Product Engineers and R&D Engineers regarding designed parts requiring weld fixtures so parts can be produced effectively.
Work closely with Manufacturing Personnel, including Department Supervisors and leadmen for appropriate design of tooling required.
Direct shop personnel who will be constructing weld fixtures and machine tools.
Other manufacturing engineering duties - all shop related projects
Knowledge of welding science, especially of heavy steel parts using primarily MIG, but also other arc welding processes
Knowledge of applicable industry welding standards such as but not limited to AWS D14.3 & AWS D1.3
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Strong working knowledge of plant production systems
Ability to work in 3D Design/CAD engineering software, preferably Pro/E Creo
Ability to comprehend, retain and complete assigned duties and instructions
Time management skills with a strong attention for detail
Masters Degree, Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in Engineering or equivalent education and experience
