This position prepares and assembles parts for shipping to insure part accuracy and package quality of equipment and parts prior to shipment
|
| Job/Education Requirements: |
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and comprehend basic blueprint information
Load and unload parts into fixtures
Execute proper machine set-up and set-up procedures Safely operate cranes, fork lift and other lifting equipment
Operate and set-up lathes and/or drills at 100%
Repeat machine set-ups and create new set-ups
Use and understand tooling to perform job, develop ability to calculate feed, speed and other technical information
Other miscellaneous duties as required by company supervisors
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong communication, decision making, and comprehension skills
Ability to "self start" a job from start to finish making decisions on set-up/process/tooling
Ability to check parts for quality
Problem solving skills
Proficiency with tape measure, layout parts, dial calipers-micrometers, lathes and drills
Ability to quickly adapt to production changes
Physical flexibility with ability to stand all day and lift up to 75lbs
Ability to comprehend, retain and complete assigned duties and instructions
