GOMACO Corporation, The Worldwide Leader in Concrete Paving Technology, is seeking a Field Engineer with a background and/or interest in heavy civil (highway/airport) construction, surveying, engineering and design. This position is with the 3D Machine Control Department and will focus heavily on the development and implementation of 3D models and machine control/automation.

| Job/Education Requirements: |
We are looking for a field-focused, hands-on technician to install machine control systems on our heavy paving equipment and provide on-site customer training. This role is 100% in the field—you’ll be traveling to job sites across the U.S., working directly with contractors, and ensuring our machines are properly set up for precision paving operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Travel to construction sites nationwide, working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Install wiring and 3D machine control systems (Leica, Trimble, Topcon) on paving equipment.
Train contractors and operators on how to use the system for precision concrete paving.
Work hands-on with GPS, robotic total stations, and CAD-based 3D models.
Assist customers with troubleshooting and optimizing machine control performance.
Provide feedback on equipment performance and best practices to improve efficiency.
Support sales by being knowledgeable about machine control components and parts.

Who We're Looking For:
Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or field service work (not an office job).
Comfortable working outdoors and traveling frequently (up to 50%).
Experience with machine control, surveying, or heavy equipment wiring (preferred but trainable).
Strong ability to communicate and train construction crews with varying skill levels.
Basic knowledge of 3D modeling software (Civil 3D, MicroStation, Carlson, etc.) is a plus.
Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
