Early Tuesday afternoon, the names of 18 contractors were drawn to fill out six three-person teams to compete in the Contractors' Shoot-Out. These 18 contractors were then cut loose on the Ida Grove course following the conclusion of the Putting Finals for the exciting five-hole competition. Every golfer hits the first shot, and then shots are alternated from that point forward, with the team with the largest score being eliminated on each hole.

Members of this year's winning team were Donn Diederich of Industrial Builders, Gary Kirtley of Loch Sand & Construction Co. and Jayson Lansink of West Central Construction. The second place team consisted of Don Weaver of Weaver-Bailey Contracting, Marty Midfeldt of Luxa Construction Co. and Jim Smith of SK Construction. Taking third place was Steve Samuelson of Constructors, Inc., Lee DuChanois of APAC-Arkansas and Dusty Jones of The Gillotti Companies. Congratulations to all the participants for a well-played competition!
