Taking first place in the Mapleton Scramble Tournament was the foursome of Steve Samuelson of Constructors, Inc., Curt Grandia of Midwest Contractor, Marty Misfeldt of Luxa Construction Co. and Mike Leinbaugh of GOMACO. They finished their tournament with a final score of 59, which was eleven under par. The foursome went on to compete in the three-hole Grand Champion Play-Off between themselves and the champions from Ida Grove, Holstein and Odebolt tournaments.
