Warm, autumn weather kept golfers in the Holstein and Mapleton Scramble Tournaments at their best. Taking the tournament in Holstein was the foursome of Dave Wilke of Wilke Construction Company, Phil Oglesby of Oglesby Construction Inc., Ken Hahn of Wyco Tool Company and Bill Ross of Yellow Freight System Inc. They finished their tournament with a score of 63, which was seven under par.

The first place team in the Mapleton tournament consisted of Russ Noble of Heavy Construction News, Bill Kascel of Kuehne & Nagel Inc., Tom Tidball of Constructors Inc. and Jean Kelly of GOMACO. They finished with a score of 60, which was 10 under par.
