At 1 p.m. Tuesday, we drew the names of 18 contractors to fill out six, three-person teams for the Contractors' Shoot-Out. The competition commenced following the Putting Championship. Each participant hits the first tee shot of the five-hole event, and shots are alternated from that point forward. The highest scoring team is eliminated on each hole until one is left

This year's Contractors' Shoot-Out Champions were Tom Florig of Fred Weber, Inc., Jason DeGraff of The Gillotti Companies and Eric Thompson of Terin Corporation. Coming in second was the team of Gary Hutchins of Weaver-Bailey Contracting, Chris Gratton of Kansas Heavy Construction, LLC, and Jamie Loch of Loch Sand and Construction Company. Taking third place were Steve Forsgren of Forsgren, Inc., Dan Driskell of Gerdan Slipforming, Inc., and Thom Kuhn of Millstone Bangert, Inc. Congratulations!
