After the conclusion of the Scramble Tournament on four courses, the four champion teams returned to Ida Grove to compete in the "Grand" Champion Play-Off. Along with their course championships, the members of the overall champion team from this three-hole competition each received a cool "grand" in cash and a Waterford crystal golfer. This year's champions were from the Ida Grove course. Members of the team were Don Beaudoin of William Beaudoin and Sons, Inc., Denny Marschuetz of J.M Marschuetz Construction Co., Rick Blesi of Construction Equipment, and Gary Godbersen of GOMACO Corporation.
Additional course champions and participants in the "Grand" Champion Play-Off were: 2008 Holstein Scramble Tournament Champions: Bill Buckles of Murphy Tractor & Equipment Company, Gary Hutchins of Weaver-Bailey Contracting, Matt Ross of MO/KS Chapter, ACPA, and Scott Smith of SK Construction. 2008 Mapleton Scramble Tournament Champions: Dan Seeler of Hentzen Coatings, Inc., Mark Benda of Parker Hannifin Corporation, Mick McGucken of William Beaudoin and Sons, Inc., and David Petersen of GOMACO. 2008 Odebolt Scramble Tournament Champions: Darren Whitton of Yellow Transportation, Inc., Kane Nordmeyer of Dobson Bros., Roger Adshead of World Highways, and Al Mackowski of GOMACO.
