Five Invitational 27 attendees had their names drawn at the Tuesday evening award's ceremony to compete in the $5,000 Putt competition. Following breakfast and the Opening Ceremony, Darrell Harklau of Clark Machinery Company, Steve Miller of Sunrise Fiberglass Corporation, Todd Peterson of Peterson Contractors, Inc., Mario Piccoli of Nick Piccoli Construction, and Michael Porcaro of Better Roads competed in a short putt-off to determine who would have one chance to sink a 50-foot putt worth $5,000.
The event was hosted by Rich Smith, GOMACO Vice President of Administration and Finance. Steve Miller earned the honor of attempting the long putt, but despite a great effort, the putt overshot the hole.
