Holstein Scramble Tournament

Wednesday's 18-hole Scramble Tournament was the main event at GOMACO Invitational #32. The computer selected the four-person teams, and assigned them to one of four courses. Each team consisted of one A, B, C, and D player. Everyone hit every shot, which made it a fun format for all skill levels. Each course (Ida Grove, Holstein, Mapleton and Odebolt) was a separate tournament, with its own flight winners and an overall champion. The winning team from each course went on to compete in the "Grand" Champion Shoot-Out later in the day in Ida Grove, which was won by the team from the Odebolt course at #32.

Winning first place in the Holstein Scramble Tournament was the foursome of Mark Benda of Parker Hannifin Corporation, Bill Crossen of Casappa Corporation, Kenny Wages of Turner-Michael Construction Co., and Austin Page of Blanchard Machinery. They finished with a score of 60, which was 10 under the course par of 70.
