Tuesday Morning

The fun and excitement of GOMACO Invitational #37 kicked-off on Tuesday, September 19, at the Ida Grove Golf and Country Club. The golfing events were held in the afternoon, and those who arrived early could enjoy open golf, practice their swing at the driving range, work on any last minute putting refinements for the Putting Tournament, or relax around the clubhouse with their friends in the industry. A GOMACO GT-3200 and three-track Commander IIIx were featured and displayed at the country club.

This year's events were delayed due to thunderstorms in the morning and early afternoon. After the rain stopped, we had the drawing for the six teams in the Contractors' Shoot-Out. And then right after, 238 participants headed out to four greens on the Ida Grove course to compete in the preliminary round of the Putting Tournament. The Putting Championship and the Contractors' Shoot-Out were held simultaneously on the Ida Grove golf course, and everyone finished up in time to enjoy the Pride of Iowa Steak Fry. The day rounded out with an awards ceremony for the day's events.
