Contractors' Shoot-Out
At 1 p.m. Tuesday, we had a drawing to fill six, three-person teams for the Contractors' Shoot-Out, a competition just for GOMACO customers. Each team contained one A, B and C player. After the Putting Championship, the 18 participants gathered at the Ida Grove #1 tee to start the five-hole competition. Every golfer hits the first tee shot, and hits are alternated from that point forward. The highest scoring team is eliminated on each hole, until one is left victorious!
This year's Contractors' Shoot-Out Champions were Ron Ideker of Ideker, Inc., Derek Dilger of Smith Paving & Excavating, Inc., and Steve Michael of Turner-Michael Construction Co. Coming in second was the team of Jason DeGraff of The Gillotti Companies, Doug Barman of Oglesby Construction, Inc., and Dustin Jones of The Gillotti Companies. Taking third place were Ted Craft of APAC-Arkansas, Robert Friess of Turner-Michael Construction Co., and Warren Schmidt of FCI Constructors. Congratulations!
