Putting Tournament - Green #5
The first event of GOMACO Invitational #28 was the Putting Tournament. At 1:15 p.m., 224 putters headed out to four greens on the Ida Grove course. The pairings and where you were golfing was randomly picked by computer, and this information was posted by the Ida Grove clubhouse patio. The winning pair from each green advanced to the Putting Championship on the #9 green.
The winning team from Green #5 was Ken Kelly of GOMACO Corporation and Mark Schoessler of Parker Hannifin Corp. They finished third in the Putting Championship.
