Ida Grove Scramble Tournament
The 18-hole Scramble Tournament is the big event at the GOMACO Invitational. The computer selects the four-person teams and where you will be golfing, and each team consists of one A, B, C, and D player. Everyone hits every shot, which is a fun format for all skill levels. On Wednesday morning, the teams head out to either the Ida Grove, Holstein, Mapleton, or Odebolt course. Each course is a separate tournament, with flight winners and an overall champion. The winning team earns the opportunity to compete in the "Grand" Champion Shoot-Out.
Taking first place in the Ida Grove Scramble Tournament was the foursome of Rick Blesi of Construction Equipment, Gary Godbersen of GOMACO Corporation, Tom Held of Fabick CAT, and Joe Bush of McCarthy Improvement Co. They finished their tournament with a score of 59, which was 11 under par. They went on to compete in the "Grand" Champion Shoot-Out between themselves and the first place teams from Holstein, Mapleton and Odebolt. Congratulations!
