$5,000 Putt

At Invitational #30, we drew the names of five lucky Invitational attendees to compete for one chance to sink a 50-foot putt worth $5,000! The competitors were Fred Beattie of Foster Equipment Co., Warren Schmidt of Flatiron Corp., Scott Smith of SK Construction, Terry Hemsath of Terry Hemsath Concrete, Inc., and Sam Clark of Texas Sterling.

After a short putt-off hosted by Rich Smith, GOMACO Vice President of Administration and Finance, Warren Schmidt earned the honor of attempting to sink the long putt. Despite an excellent effort, the cash prize went unclaimed at #30. As a special reward for our anniversary year, Warren received $100 in cash from the $5,000 Putt's sponsor.
