At 1 p.m. Tuesday, we had a drawing to fill six, three-person teams for the Contractors' Shoot-Out, an event exclusively for GOMACO customers. Each team consisted of one A, B and C player. After the Putting Tournament Championship, the 18 participants met on the Ida Grove #1 tee for the five-hole competition. Each golfer hit the first tee shot, and hits were alternated from that point on. The highest scoring team on each hole was eliminated, until one trio was our Invitational #36 champion.

This year's championship team was Brad Auch of D&G Concrete Construction, Blake Driskell of Gerdan Slipforming, Inc., and Ron Michael, Jr., of Turner-Michael Construction Co. Coming in second were Conner Martin of Pavers, Inc., Jim Gunderson of Legends Concrete Inc., and Jeff Thompson of Complete General Construction. The third place team was Jeff Eberhardt of Adelman Concrete, Todd Allen of Hawkins Construction Co., and Travis Mann of Luxa Construction Co.
