Ida Grove Scramble Tournament

Wednesday's 18-hole Scramble Tournament was the main event at GOMACO Invitational #35. The computer selected the four-person teams, and assigned them to one of four courses. Each team consisted of one A, B, C, and D player. Everyone hit every shot, which made it a fun format for all skill levels. Each course (Ida Grove, Holstein, Mapleton and Odebolt) was a separate tournament, with its own flight winners and an overall champion. The winning team from each course went on to compete in the "Grand" Champion Shoot-Out later in the day in Ida Grove.

Winning first place in the Ida Grove Scramble Tournament and also winning the "Grand" Champion Shoot-Out was the foursome of Chad Schaeding of GOMACO, Kevin Garcia of Trimble Navigation Ltd., Craig Endahl of PACE Manufacturing, and Greg Kuhlman of Iowa Fluid Power. They finished the Ida Grove tournament with a score of 59, which was 11 under the course par of 70.
