Holstein Scramble Tournament

Wednesday's 18-hole Scramble Tournament was the main event at GOMACO Invitational #34. The computer selected the four-person teams, and assigned them to one of four courses. Each team consisted of one A, B, C, and D player. Everyone hit every shot, which made it a fun format for all skill levels. Each course (Ida Grove, Holstein, Mapleton and Odebolt) was a separate tournament, with its own flight winners and an overall champion. The winning team from each course went on to compete in the "Grand" Champion Shoot-Out later in the day in Ida Grove.

Winning first place in the Holstein Scramble Tournament and also winning the "Grand" Champion Shoot-Out was the foursome of Brad Johnson of Road Machinery & Supplies Co., Travis Mann of Luxa Construction Co., Dustin Keith of Hi-Way Paving, Inc., and Arden Jones of Concept Sales, Inc. They finished the Holstein tournament with a score of 61, which was nine under the course par of 70.
