Mapleton Scramble Tournament

Wednesday's 18-hole Scramble Tournament was the main event at GOMACO Invitational #34. The computer selected the four-person teams, and assigned them to one of four courses. Each team consisted of one A, B, C, and D player. Everyone hit every shot, which made it a fun format for all skill levels. Each course (Ida Grove, Holstein, Mapleton and Odebolt) was a separate tournament, with its own flight winners and an overall champion. The winning team from each course went on to compete in the "Grand" Champion Shoot-Out later in the day in Ida Grove.

Winning first place in the Mapleton Scramble Tournament was the foursome of Craig Endahl of PACE Manufacturing, Inc., Chris Brown of Asphalt Concrete Equipment & Supplies, Randy Held of Road Builders Machinery & Supply Company, and Brian Manatt of Manatt’s, Inc. They finished the Mapleton tournament with a score of 61, which was nine under the course par of 70.
