Fort McMurray Airport
A terminal building was constructed to accommodate increased passenger and air traffic from work at the Athabasca Oil Sands. The Commander III slipformed the new apron in six paving passes. Each pass was 6.1 meters (20 ft) wide and 380 millimeters (15 in) thick.

This GOMACO four-track GP-4000 concrete slipform paver is pouring 25 feet (7.6 m) wide and 18 inches (457 mm) thick on the Denver International Airport in Colorado. The paver is equipped with Leica 3D guidance and the GOMACO exclusive G+® control system. A GOMACO RTP-500 rubber tracked placer is placing the concrete on the grade in front of the paver.
Palermo Airport
A four-track Commander III was used to slipform both the cement-treated base and new concrete apron at the Palermo Airport in Palermo, Sicily, Italy. The Commander III’s paving pass for both applications was six meters (19.7 ft) wide.

A four-track GOMACO GP-2400 is paving an airplane parking apron on the Palm Beach International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida. The slab was 15 feet (4.6 m) wide and 12 inches (305 mm) thick.
Charlotte-Douglas International Airport
This new four-track GP4 concrete paver is slipforming 18.75 feet (5.7 m) wide and 20 inches (508 mm) thick on the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina. The paver is equipped with Leica 3D guidance, a 5000 series open-front mold, a 16 inch (406 mm) auger, and a diverter plow.
Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport
This GOMACO C-450 with a high-production screed and 3D guidance is finishing an apron on the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Bozeman, Montana. The new apron is being completed in 80 foot (24 m) wide finishing passes.
Charlotte-Douglas International Airport

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport

This four-track GP-4000 paver with 3D stringless guidance slipformed on the Bay Runway (13R-31L) at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Over 20 trucks hauled 12 cubic yards (9.2 m3) of concrete to the paving site. The contractor had 120 days to build the bulk of the new 14,572 foot (4442 m) long, 200 foot (61 m) wide runway.

Perm Airport
On the first day of production on the Perm Airport in Russia, the crew paved 2,625 feet (800 m) of runway and averaged 5.7 feet per minute (1.75 m). Paving passes were 24.6 feet (7.5 m) wide. The runway is 8.7 inches (220 mm) thick and approximately 1.9 miles (3 km) long. They utilized a GOMACO GHP-2800 slipform paver and a T/C-600 texture/cure machine.

Central Japan International Airport
The Central Japan International Airport, nicknamed Centrair, extends across 1161 acres (470 ha) and features an 11,483 foot (3500 m) long runway that is 197 feet (60 m) wide. A major part of the project was paving Centrair's concrete runway and apron areas, an area of approximately 8,611,410 feet2 (800,000 m2). Two of the three consortiums working on the project used GOMACO GHP-2800s for slipforming.

Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport

London Heathrow Airport
A total GOMACO package worked on London Heathrow's massive T5 runway project. A four-track GHP-2800 paver, equipped with 3D stringless guidance, paved passes 21.7 inches (550 mm) thick with a female keyway in the side of the slab. A GOMACO T/C-400 followed the paver and applied a transverse texture and cure to the new slab in a single pass.

This airport is in the panhandle of Florida is home to the 16th Special Operations Wing of the United States Air Force, and its asphalt runway was due to be replaced with concrete. The entire runway project was 8000 feet (2438 m) long and 150 feet (46 m) wide, and was completed in 68 days. The crew used GOMACO 9000 and 9500 trimmers, and GP-2600 and GP-2000 slipform pavers.
